Meeting standards and setting standards

We have set ourselves the goal of meeting uniform global standards in terms of quality, environmental protection and safety to further developing LANXESS on a sustainable basis. To oversee these efforts, we have established a centrally coordinated global management system. Every year we commission a globally-recognized certification company to objectively assess this system in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Upon meeting the requirements, we receive a certificate listing all LANXESS sites integrated into the management system. At our sites in the United States, a certificate in accordance with RC 14001 is also required. We also have other certificates and supporting documents that prove that we meet special requirements, such as quality assurance criteria for animal feed, EMAS, ISO KTA 1401, OHSAS 18001 and accreditations for testing laboratories.
