Familie Garage Kommode klein Richard Lampert

Ingenious: Famille Garage chest of drawers small Richard Lampert

You have just changed your child’s nappy and already the next stage of growth has been reached? No matter how fast your child grows – the Famille Garage design children’s furniture series by Richard Lampert keeps up. Stay calm, simply rearrange individual components – and voila! The award-winning series also includes this chest of drawers, the little sister of the large changing table chest, which can also be fitted with colourful drawers made of plastic. Twelve boxes fit into the chest, they are available in yellow, red, green, blue or transparent. With these colourful boxes, you not only inspire your child, you also actively do something for its development. Because everything your child needs to play to his or her heart’s content really does fit in here: Lego bricks, pencils, puzzles, cuddly toys, cars, dolls. And the best thing is that your child learns to sort things and assign colours correctly in a playful way. No wonder that designer Alexander Seifried has been awarded the Interior Innovation Award and the German Design Award for his Lampert Famille Garage series!

Learned from the bottom up: designer Alexander Seifried

Alexander Seifried knows exactly how to build furniture; at the age of 18, he graduated from his carpentry apprenticeship as 2nd guild winner and then completed an apprenticeship at 3F Design in Stuttgart, specialising in interior design and furniture design. Only two years later, he presented his first own furniture collection and made it into the renowned manufacturing companies Richard Lampert, Magazin, frauMaier and Elmar Flötotto.
