Good so far

I got a free sample of this in the mail. It smells good, easy to use and absorbs well. It has a thin gel like consistency. I have only used it once so far so I don’t know if it actually does anything and there’s not enough in the sample to find out.

Wanted to love it

Unfortunately this does pill on your skin no matter what. I was recommended by my dermatologist to use a vitamin C and I love this brand, so I went straight to purchase this serum. It feels good and I’m hoping it will brighten my dull skin however I was hoping to use it in the morning – have to use it at night only as no matter how long I wait or what other product I use, it flakes off and looks awful. Pieces of it clump together and I have to wash it off. Such a disappointment as it wasn’t cheap and I had high hopes. Will use this one until it’s done but won’t repurchase due to the fact it can only be used at night and I use other products and wanted one for twice a day or morning use.

I’ve used this product twice and I hate it. The first time i used it, it oxidized and turned my skin orange. Honestly looked like dried blood in the right lighting. It also pilled so bad. This doesnt sit well under makeup at all. Made my makeup look patchy and even separated. I had to take off all my makeup because it looked so bad.

This vitamin c serum was really great but it’s 2023..vitamin c serums need to be packsged in a bottle that is dark and has a pump. With the cuurent packaging, very time you open the bottle and take the dropper out, it’s oxidizing. If you leave it in the light at all, it’s oxidizing. I had to throw away most of my product because of this. I won’t be buying again until there’s a good packaging revamp.

So I just tried this and I also tried the La roche posay Active C-10 intensive vitamin C. They are both good and effective, definitely between the better vitamin C products I have tried. This serum was a bit sticky after application, which is pretty common. It also made my skin a bit oilier throughout the day, so maybe not the best option for oily skin. As others mentioned, it is also pretty pigmented and it made my face look almost like after applying a self tanner. Not necessarily a bad thing but it was enough to see a tone difference between my face and neck. Personally I prefer the mentioned Active C-10 serum which has more of a lotion texture, no stickiness and it doesn’t affect oiliness of my skin. I also didn’t have any issue with changing my skin tone. I feel like the Active C-10 is somewhat more effective than this.

My skin looks brighter and my skin is more toned. My husband is using it now he is addicted. My makeup goes on much smoother. I highly recommend using.

It us good for your skin and it feels amazing!

It is moisturizing light and very hydrating on my akin and it gives you all the vitaminC you need. My least fav thing is somtimes it can get sticky.
