5 Things To Know About Burberry’s Rebellious SS22 Men’s Presentation
Riccardo Tisci was thinking about freedom and togetherness when he created his spring/summer 2022 men’s collection, so conjured a set inspired by some of the ways we used to find a sense of both. Leather-clad models were drawn as if by magnets across bleached sand – their footsteps and distant barking dogs the only soundtrack – towards the shell of an abandoned building, where pounding trance music (curated by the brilliantly named electronic duo, Shpongle), and a pulsing crowd lay in wait. The overall effect fell somewhere between Mad Max, a festival dance tent, and the sort of illegal raves routinely being shut down by police during lockdown.
