HPA is a highly reliable series of high power amplifiers that combines twelve high power amplifiers with a single power supply solution. The entire HPA series is driven by the Class-T modulator (a branch of the Tripath-D class) and the entire series provides a very warm and powerful sound. Flexible input sensitivity
The input sensitivity of the HPA series can be adjusted over a very wide range. The flexible input sensitivity makes the amplifier perfectly compatible with MP3, the professional preamplifier the amplifier can always offer the best solution for different types of audio sources and players. Wide signal supply (asymmetric)
The HPA series allows a universal supply voltage range from DC48V to DC200V (for HPA1, the supply voltage range is DC48V – DC200V while for HPA2, the supply voltage range is DC48V – DC120V). Taking full account of the power supply solution, the HPA series is designed based on the Class T modulator (a branch of Tripath Class-D). Each model can be powered directly from the DC power supply. 48V switching power supplies are commonly used in industrial applications and will be sufficient to evaluate our amplifiers. For amplifiers, higher input voltage means more power. For those customers who require more power, assorted boost boost converters and AC-DC power modules are also available in Sure Electronics, so it is possible to achieve 2kW power and audio resolution without any difficulty. With its low output impedance, the HPA series supports loads from 1.5Ω to 16Ω without impact from the charging characteristics of the speakers. We have already optimized the frequency response of the load and the HPA series has been tested with capacitive loads and resistive loads like coil, electric oven and resistance to guarantee the stability and performance of the amplifier. However, special attention should be paid to any operation with purely capacitive loads. Full power in continuous operation
With high efficiency up to 93% and extremely low standby power consumption below 2 W, the HPA series meets the high power with high efficiency. Superior design and layout, dedicated heat delivery design with thermostatically controlled fan; selected high quality components; all these features allow the HPA series excellent power and can operate stably and continuously at nominal power from 500 W to 2000 W.
Easy to integrate
The entire HPA series offers a size of 6 x 4.5 inches which is compact and convenient for integration into any application. With a total height of 1.6 inches (40.6 mm), this series can be integrated into the 1 U cabinet without any difficulty. Signal detection
The entire HPA series offers a very sensitive automatic signal detection feature that detects the main input audio signal and automatically switches to the corresponding channel. In addition to the standby function, the HPA series offer a more convenient solution to control the system, save on design costs and improve the operating experience. Standby power consumption is only several mA, or typically less than 2W, which is surprising for kW amplifiers and will maintain a very high margin for Energy Star or CE certification. To provide a very high sound quality, we use a high carrier frequency in mute or reproduction status, but we still provide low power consumption and high efficiency, referenced from the data sheet.
Fully protection, robust performance
The HPA series is equipped with professional protection features to prevent amplifier damage from the following four aspects: Overcurrent Protection; Overvoltage protection; Protection
thermal; High voltage protection; anti-reverse protection. In addition to the integrated chip protection, the ESD and spike protection components used throughout the input and output of the amplifier board guarantee its robustness and reliability. In addition, the HPA series is equipped with the lower high voltage anti-inversion protection than the ideal diode. This can avoid permanent stress caused by improper operations.
Large components from large suppliers
We always use IRF (now Infineon), Infineon and other world-class MOSFET suppliers, we only use Nippon Chemi Corporation electron capacitors, original SAGAMI inductors in this series and all other components only from the original manufacturer or authorized distributors. We can always supply commercial invoices from our suppliers, only original or authorized.
Low energy consumption
Sure Electronics selects energy-efficient solutions well, while we never hesitate with high quality operational amplifiers even if they consume a little more energy. For those stand-alone Bluetooth sound cards, typical power consumption is around 10 mA and to provide high sound quality, we recommend the customer to use 5-6V power. In our digital output (w analog output or not) Bluetooth receiver card, we use both DC / DC and LDO, to create a 2-stage power supply circuit that provides both high efficiency and great sound quality at the same time.
DSP input module (optional)
Surely Electctronics offers a flexible DSP flat shape with potentiometers and IO programmers for digital crossover and audio tuning. The fully programmable on-board ADAU1701 28- / 56-bit DSP audio from analog device is competent in various signal processing applications. This processing can be used to compensate for the limitations of the real world of speakers, amplifiers and listening environments, providing significant improvements in perceived audio quality. Most of the processing is performed in 56-bit double-precision mode, achieving excellent low-level signal performance. Two C-Δ ADCs and four AC-Δ DACs integrated in this DSP provide a 98.5 dB analog input to the dynamic analogue output. Each ADC has a THD + N of -83 dB and each DAC has a THD + N of -90 dB.
