AHA + BHA Face Peeling Serum 1 fl oz

Skin care with AHA or BHA acid?

How about just using both? Our AHA/BHA peeling combines both acids for a deep cleansing as well as a moisturizing effect. Read more to find out exactly what the two acids are and what they can do for your skin.

What is AHA acid?

AHA stands for alpha hydroxy acids. Since these natural substances are also found in fruits and milk, they are also known as fruit or lactic acids. AHA acid is a powerful agent that removes dead skin cells and has moisturizing properties. AHA acid is most effective on blemished, dry or mature skin.

What is BHA acid?

BHA stands for beta hydroxy acids. Here we are talking about salicylic acids. Especially for blemished skin, BHA acid is a popular ingredient in skincare products: it removes skin cells, but it penetrates even deeper into the pores, cleansing them from the inside and counteracting sebum. BHA peelings are therefore best used on oily or blemished skin, because facial cleansing with salicylic acids (BHA) unclogs pores on the face, regulates sebum production and helps with acne by reducing inflammation and the formation of new pimples.

So AHA and BHA acids work in a very similar way: the only difference is their intensity.

The best part of it? The effect of salicylic acid on the skin is scientifically confirmed: Sun damage and wrinkles are visibly reduced. Due to the peeling effect, your skin is noticeably softer and more radiant after exfoliation.

Use of our AHA/BHA serum : How do I apply the fruit acid peeling?

Apply the AHA/BHA peeling to a clean, dry face. Do not use on damp skin. Spread the acid peeling evenly over your face and neck with your fingertips. For best results, leave the mask on for up to 10 minutes. Afterwards, rinse off the peeling with lukewarm water.

Avoid applying the AHA/BHA acid to the eye area and avoid any direct eye contact. We recommend nourishing your skin with the serum in the evening. Wondering how often you should use the AHA/BHA peeling? For perfect results, use it twice a week.

Caution: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) and a beta hydroxy acid (BHA), which can increase the skin’s sensitivity to the sun and the risk of sunburn. Use sunscreen, wear covering clothing and avoid being in the sun for too long while using the product and for a week after application.
