Alexander Wang, Taiwanese designer who founded the US namesake fashion brand, is mainly famous for his minimal creations: simple cuts combined with materials such as cashmere, cotton and linen are his signature features. The style of the brand consists in a strong mix of casual and streetwear, as can be seen in iconic pieces like leather jackets, black jersey dresses, shorts and oversize t-shirts. Alexander Wang produces both men’s and womenswear, as well as footwear, bags and accessories.

The brand was launched in 2005 with a collection of knitted garments and its success came quiet quckly.
In 2008 in fact, with its second collection, Alexander Wang capture all the attentions of the fashion insiders and specialists thanks to his ability to perfectly match the modernity with functionality.

The brand’s purpose is to create easy to wear garments which boost anyone confidence reflecting in the same time the metropolitan life and this lead Alexander Wang a big winning over the new generation.
The fil rouge of all his creations is the black color, nowadays hallmark of the brand.

Alexander Wang is considered one of the most unconventional brands at the moment: it totally killed the gender fashion with androgynous pieces giving so a new voice to femininity and sensuality.

As a designer, Alexander Wang boasts a wide range of collaborations with labels such as Adidas Originals and Gentle Monster, as well as the ones with fast fashion brands like H&M and UNIQLO.
