macOS

You can install fonts on your Mac in several different ways. One way is to open the Fonts app, click the Add button in the toolbar, find and select the font, then click the Open button. Another way is to drag the font file onto the Fonts app icon in the Dock. You can also double–click the font file in the finder, and then click Install Font in the dialog box that appears.

When you install a font, Fonts automatically checks it for errors.
