I’ve had a lot of people asking me what camera they should buy for their new iphone. And I’ve done a lot of research trying to find the best answer.

There are a lot of articles out there telling you that the iPhone 8 has a better camera than the X or the 7, but what they don’t tell you is that there are three main models. The iPhone 6S has an 8 megapixel sensor and does not have optical image stabilization.

The 6S+ and 7 have 12 megapixel sensors and both have optical image stabilization. The 8 and X have 12 megapixel sensors with optical image stabilization.

The camera on the 6S and 6S+ is very good for an iPhone, but it does lack optical image stabilization, which can lead to blurry photos if you’re not still when you’re snapping shots. If you have shaky hands, go for one of the newer models.

The iPhone 7 has a 12 megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization, which makes it my top recommendation if you want the best possible iphone model camera.

The iPhone 8 has an updated 12 megapixel sensor and also has optical image stabilization like the 7 before it.
