Brakes – Anyone knows about Nippart brakes?

I thought I’d just throw my 2 pence in about Nipparts. Basically they come highly recommended for me. I try to carry out most repairs myself and have experimented with different motor factors and suppliers in the past.

I’ve been using Nipparts parts for years on my previous cars, older EG/EK/EJ Civics, Preludes, Mitsubishi Colt and Toyota Yaris. I swear by them and always seek the Nipparts equivalent where possible. Not only are they generally cheaper than the alternatives (Q&H, Lucas etc), I’ve found many parts to be actual OEM parts or at the very least OEM standard.

Having done a little research about them I’ve gathered they are a Dutch based operation that source solely from Japan. When I replaced my BB4 Prelude clutch, within the Nipparts box was an Exedy OEM standard clutch, again the cheapest option available.

Parts I’ve had include clutches, brakes, master cylinders, bearings, suspension parts/bushes. Pretty much everything is Japan marked (which is always a good sign) and often the parts are exactly the same as OEM with exactly the same markings (Had this with Honda and Mitsubishi parts, supplying original bearings and Nissin master cylinders).

For me I’ve used them, will continue using them and would even ask for them by name.
