Britney Spears wedding crash attempted by first husband Jason Alexander (no, not that one)

Britney Spears is reportedly set to marry her fiance Sam Asghari today … but a face from her past just managed to hurl himself back into her life.

Jason Alexander, Spears’ first husband, livestreamed himself seemingly attempting to crash the festivities (see video below).

TMZ reports that Alexander’s presence drew police Thursday as preparations for the wedding were underway at Spears’ home in Thousand Oaks, California.

Alexander told security for the event that Spears had invited him, but also said that he would be crashing the event. He managed to get inside her house before police showed up. A photo shows him being pinned on the ground.

People reports that wedding guests will include Madonna, Paris Hilton, Gwyneth Paltrow, Selena Gomez and Kate Hudson.

Alexander, who shares a name with Jersey actor Jason Alexander from “Seinfeld” (who was not born Jason Alexander), is known for having been married to Spears for just 55 hours after their Las Vegas nuptials in 2004. The friends, who grew up together in Kentwood, Louisiana, were both 22 at the time.

“Where’s Britney at?” he asked security in his live video on Instagram, walking through her house and telling a man on the property that he was Spears’ first husband.

“I’m here to crash the wedding, brother,” Alexander said, heading inside an empty tent adorned with roses for the wedding ceremony.

“Britney Spears invited me here,” he said before the video cut out. “She’s my first wife, my only wife. I’m her first husband. I’m here to crash the wedding.”

E! News reports that police arrested Alexander, 40, who had an outstanding warrant from 2015.

Alexander has shared Instagram posts speculating about the people around Spears. He previously supported the disintegration of her conservatorship, which was dissolved in 2021 after 13 years.

He posted a video Thursday in which he calls for an investigation of Spears’ family, Kate Hudson and Asghari’s family, and talks about LLCs. He also offered himself up to be investigated.

“Follow the money,” Alexander said. “Get answers. That’s all I have to say.”

Spears, 40, and Asghari, 28, an actor and fitness trainer, met in 2016 on the set of her “Slumber Party” music video. They got engaged in September.

The pop singer has two teen sons, Sean and Jayden, with ex-husband Kevin Federline. E! News reports that they will not be attending the wedding, and her mother Lynne Spears, father Jamie Spears and sister Jamie Lynn Spears — famously mired in the conservatorship drama — were not invited.
