Burberry Her Burberry perfume – a fragrance for women 2018

I. am. in. love!

I actually have quite a history with this fragrance… I’ve been looking for a new signature scent for… three years now! For some reason I just couldn’t find that one fragrance that just made me go “hell yes!” and instead I kept buying random fragrances that I did really love but didn’t give me that feeling and just hoped they’d grow on me in that sense but none of them did.

I dunno why but having a signature scent is something I deem important, because scents are so much more than just an “accessory”; perfumes literally hold the power to bottle up memories! Whenever I even get only a whiff of a past signature scent of mine it instantly transports me back to that period of my life when I wore it. It brings back all the memories you thought you’d forgotten – the good and the bad.

Having said all that, this frag got recommended to me again and again when I was looking for perfumes. I never gave it much attention because, to be frank, the bottle didn’t catch me and the notes seemed… generic? But, for whatever reason, today I decided to follow fragrantica’s advice… I tried out the “perfume finder”… and no matter what fragrances I typed in Burberry Her kept popping up on first place. So I thought, well, if fragrantica is dead set on me trying it out I’ll do it. I went to the next store and reluctantly sprayed it on a test strip… and OMG I fell in love at first sniff!!

This fragrance is just so so lovely! It’s fresh – but not soapy, it’s fruity – but not in a synthetic way, it’s sweet – but not cloying, it’s powdery – but not suffocatingly so, it has patchouli in it – which I usually hate but don’t mind at all in here, it’s a bit woody – which helps to ground it and there’s also vanilla in it’s base – without being too heavy on it!

and… the strawberry – I love love love strawberry but never managed to find a frag that actually did real strawberries justice.

This is just so well blended and smelling it literally just makes me smile and feel happy! I can’t even begin to describe how magical this is, to me this is the perfect autumn/winter scent – it’s fruity floral notes make you eager for spring and summer (where you can switch it for the EDT 😉 while the woody and powdery notes along with the yummy vanilla make winter so so much more warm and cozy!
