My Burberry Black was launched in 2016 and announced as a sensual flanker of the 2014 My Burberry floral original, a work of perfumer Francis Kurkdjian. In December 2017, its new edition My Burberry Black Elixir de Parfum comes out as a sweet composition rich in accords we associate with the winter holiday season.

The scent is supposedly resonant with deep and dark sensuality, and holds floral notes of absolute rose and jasmine from the original. Sugared almonds and dark vanilla give a sweet character to the composition, refreshed with lemon in the upper notes and wrapped in sandalwood in a smoky base.
