Burberry’s latest B-series drop is a sustainable pastel pink belt bag
The chic Cannon belt bag is made with ECONYL® – a sustainable nylon yarn made from recycled fishing nets, fabric scraps and industrial plastic.
In case you haven’t been paying attention, Burberry has been launching limited-time-only drops as part of its monthly B-series campaign since the brand’s Autumn/Winter 2019 show. Unveiled every 17th of the month, the campaign has attracted online consumers on its social media platforms, including Instagram and China’s Weibo.
This March, the British fashion house has revealed the latest B-series creation by Chief Creative Officer Riccardo Tisci: the Cannon belt bag. First seen on its Spring/Summer 2020 runway, the bag is now available in an exclusive pastel pink palette for today only.
Highlighting the brand’s move towards sustainability, the chic belt bag is made with ECONYL® – a sustainable nylon yarn made from recycled fishing nets, fabric scraps and industrial plastic.
It is designed with adjustable black straps that allow it to be worn in front or at the back, resembling a mini backpack. Completing the bag’s versatile design are the globe graphic zip pull and matching pink Burberry logo.
The launch follows the brand’s carbon neutral show at Fall 2020 Fashion Week and other sustainability efforts including a fur ban and pledge to eliminate plastic.
The Cannon belt bag will be available for pre-order on March 17 exclusively through Burberry’s Instagram for 24 hours only.
