These are actually football boots, but a lot of rugby players choose to wear these, even over the equivalent and rugby specific RS7, which have a little more protection built in the upper. You’ll find players like Cory Jane and Zac Guildford wearing these boots.

The elite level boot is the F50, but adidas also make an F30 and F10, the lower the number the cheaper the boot, but the less techonology involved in it, the F30 is usually suitable for club players and the F10 for children, you can hardly tell the difference between the numbers in the look of the boot, the actual boot even has F50 written on to it still, so many people won’t notice.

The adidas F50 adiZero TRX Firm Ground, Hard Ground or Soft Ground Football Boots are one of the lightest boots on offer weighing in at only 5.8 ounces, the adidas F50 adiZero TRX FG is super-lightweight for top speed. The adiZero saw the inclusion of adidas’s Sprintframe outsole construction, which enhanced stability and comfort whilst ensuring the boots would remain incredibly light. The off-centre lacing system increases the surface area on the front of the boot, creating a larger contact zone for kickers of the ball.
