CHANEL Le Blanc 2023 Collection (Délices Pastel de Chanel)

After a long wait, Chanel Le Blanc 2023 Collection is finally available in the U.S.!

Since this collection was released in the Asian and European markets earlier, I saw so many online photos and swatches already and was feeling quite tired by the time it was launched here in the U.S. But what can I say? There is a reason why this collection is so hyped. It is indeed a beautiful and cheerful collection that screams spring. 

I picked up 4 items from a Chanel boutique and now this collection is available on the Chanel website as well. Scroll down for my review, swatches, and makeup look.

Les 4 Ombres 68 Délices ($70, Chanel)

This beautiful and whimsical color story comes in a baked finish. The texture is even and smooth for easy application. Despite the pastel nature, each shade is quite pigmented and luminous.

The lavender shade is pink-based and has a slight blue sheen to it. The peach is more of a matte color. The bottom left is a mauvy brown with a luminous finish and the light lemon yellow has a great brightening effect with more visible shimmers.

Fantaisie de Chanel Illuminating Powder ($80, Chanel)

In my opinion, this is the star piece of the collection. This stunning color has an amazing finish with the just right amount of luminosity. On my complexion, it is definitely a blush shade but I can see this powder works as a beautiful highlighter shade on deeper skin tones.

It is a cool-toned pink but there is a slight warmth to the color, which makes it universally wearable.

Baume Essentiel Lilas ($45, Chanel)

The iridescent lilac sheen is so pretty! If you like the Baume Essentiel formula, do check this one out.

Rouge Allure Ink 236 Gourmandise ($45, Chanel)

There is a cool red shade (Tentation) in this collection but for a change, I picked up a “non-red” shade. Gourmandise is a medium neutral pink but it appears a soft pinky red on my lips. It goes very nicely with the other makeup items I chose.

Below is my first makeup look with Chanel Le Blanc 2023 Collection. I went for a soft feminine look. Same makeup but with the black jacket, the luminosity of the blush looks more prominent (3rd photo).

I hope you find this post helpful! If you’re eyeing this collection, I suggest acting fast since there are already some signs of a shortage. The boutiques have limited quantities and some of them are already sold out during the pre-order period. I hear some of the collection will be available at other retailers but not everything.
