CHANEL Spring/Summer 2021 Ready-to-Wear Runway | JCG Magazine

CHANEL Spring/Summer 2021 Ready-to-Wear is present on the designer’s version of the Hollywood sign inside the grand Palais in Paris.  The sign spelled out CHANEL in white letters.  Virginie Viard’s show was a tribute to classic cinema and the muses that have inspired the brand for many years.  The show presents as a red carpet that captures the moments of the actresses when the photographers call out to them.

This season, the collection features from old school glamour to modern twist of 80’s look.  Power shoulder on classic tweed jacket with slightly volume silhouette like the ones we’ve seen in the 1980s.  The iconic tweed jacket is reinterpreted with a short length and style with cheerful shorts. Alongside the classic palette pieces that symbolize the Maison, such as ecru and black, this season’s eye-catching color items such as fluorescent jeans, glittering metallic red jackets, and pale pink capri pants are also feature.

CHANEL logo like neon light is seen in the mini-length dress.  Just like the wrap skirt, the dress asymmetrical silhouette with the fabric wrapped around the waist creates a unique look as if the bold logo is camouflaged.  In addition, a casual tote bag with the same motif was carried by the model with this look. Joyful, colorful, and vibrant collection for this year with a tribute to the muses of the House

The collection is available in boutiques February 2021.
