Chance Eau Tendre Eau de Parfum Chanel perfume – a fragrance for women 2019
After an early lunch about a week ago I was out doing some Christmas returns and saw this new juice sitting out on the counter at my local Belks. I had not applied perfume that morning knowing I was headed to the department stores so Tendre eau de Parfum ended up my scent of the afternoon. It was in the mid eighties that afternoon here in Florida so I do not know how this will perform in the colder weather as of yet.
Upon first spritz it pleasantly reminded me of something I already had but I could not put my finger on it. I decided not to over analyze and just enjoy this girly baby. I then went about my business. Anyway, I could smell both the robust Grapefruit and sweet tropical smelling Quince right away and then within minutes a jammy Rose was quite pronounced and became the star of this composition. The Jasmine came in after the Citrus abated a little bit adding some creaminess. The Musk is not all that heavy and is most noticeable on the dry down along with the floral notes making this gorgeously smooth.
The Sillage was huge at first and then it became moderate. This is not a sillage bomb but that is okay because I could smell myself all afternoon. I had a younger hostess at the restaurant I went to for dinner mention how “pretty” I smelled. My husband joined me and as he hugged me he commented that he loved the way I smelled as well. When I told him it was the newest from Chanel he just smiled and said, “Chanel knows how to do it right!” He knew I was going to get this new fragrance if I had not already. I could smell Chanel Chance Tendre eau de Parfum until I bathed upon coming home from shopping and dinner at around eight. It had lasted about eight hours. This new baby was to be acquired.
Tendre eau de Parfum is a beautiful pick me up perfume. As for now my experience says it will be best for milder mornings and warmer days. If you are looking for a new Spring or Summer fragrance look no further. This one is going to shine then for sure. I highly recommend. Just go lightly in hundred degree weather. Oh I figured out it reminds me of Dior’s Addict to Life minus the Lily of the Valley which is one of my favorite Summer Rose fragrances but it has become hard to find and quite expensive.
I am headed out to pick up my bottle of this new juice, and the big one, today. Another review will follow if I find it suitable for cold weather and also will report how it performs then as we Floridians are in for a cold spell (lows in the 40’s) this week. Have a great one my fellow Fragranticans!
ADDENDUM: Well in the colder weather Tendre EDP is different. It is kind of hard to explain. I did not get the same vibe. I figured it had to be me because my dry skin does not like cold weather. I applied some unscented goat milk moisturizer and reapplied Tendre EDP. Eureka! That was the answer. The fragrance blossomed again in all its Rosy glory. I really think this is better in mild to warm weather. If you do wear it in colder weather moisturize heavily if you tend to have dry skin. I am going to look on Chanel.com for the body lotion. Still a huge love for me!
