Chanel Poudre Universelle Libre Natural Finish Loose Powder Review
As promised, I am going to review Chanel Poudre Universelle Libre Natural Finish Loose Powder (~$52). This particular Chanel line is Limited Edition. I got this powder as a present from my sister-in-law, and I love it! The only thing is it is a little bit light for my skin, but other than that… It’s amazing.. let me share with you why!
Here is how the gift was packaged. I think it’s cute and simple.
This is the box it came in. The natural finish loose powder shade color that I got is 20 Clair. Poudre Universelle Libre comes in four available shades. It’s pretty easy to determine which shade you are out of the four… there is one for peachy red undertone skin, neutral light skin (ivory, this is the one I have), dark olive color, and medium. This product is made in France and the size of the content is 1 oz.
Inside of the box, there were no instructions or anything except for the product. Isn’t the chanel product so pretty? ooOo shiny.
Haha you can see my cell phone case.
Once you twist off the Chanel lid, you will find a puff applicator for applying the powder.
The puff applicator is super soft and has a little ribbon on the back side for you to put you fingers in between so it’s easy to hold. I really like how to powder looks when applied with the puff applicator, but I believe that it will not last long and will need to be replaced with something else…
Don’t you just want to sleep on the puff applicator? LOL~ (maybe I’m saying this because I’m at work)
Chanel Description:
Ultra-soft loose powder provides sheer, light coverage with a soft matte finish, setting and perfect makeup as it evens skin tone. Photo-reflective pigments help disguise imperfections without emphasizing lines.
How To Use:
Use puff applicator to apply powder. Lightly tap puff on the back of your hand to remove excess product. (It is important to really take the time to remove the excess product because you will see some uneven spots on your face if you don’t. And when this happens, you have to blot those area’s even more and now you’re just wasting product and not getting the flawless perfect results that you should be getting.) Then, press lightly over the face.
My Thoughts:
I really fell in love with this product. At first, I didn’t see a point to using a finishing powder. But OMG I was totally wrong! The moment you apply this product on your face, you can really see the difference! My face looks so much smoother, softer, and better after using the Chanel finish loose powder. Even better, you can’t tell that I have makeup on! It’s virtually invisible.. Try this product out for yourself and you will know what I am talking about. Also, this product has done a great job in controlling my oil. I am no longer shiny at the end of the day. Usually by the time I get out of work, my T-zone has over produced oil by the gallons. But now, it has become pretty bare-able and I no longer get grossed out by my own face. Click on the link below if you want to see what this product looks like before and after on my face.
See how Megu Fujigamori and I use the Chanel Poudre Universelle Libre to create flawless skin.
