Chanel, the world’s leading fashion and cosmetics brand, has begun a new chapter in Vietnam, recently unveiling its first stand-alone fragrance and beauty boutique in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 1, dedicated to showcasing its complete range of makeup, skincare and fragrances.

Located on the ground floor of the Saigon Center, the boutique space covers a total surface area of 133 sq m. Clients are invited to explore the latest makeup trends and collections and a wide range of playful colors with regular changing themes and events. They can also enjoy a special skincare service called Sublimage from the Chanel beauty team.

Inspired by Mademoiselle Chanel’s universe, the interior design of the new boutique reinterprets the codes and aesthetics of the House through a combination of clear lines and high tech materials and highly polished elements coupled with leather. Adopting a contemporary architectural slant, the boutique embraces the House’s most symbolic colors: black, beige and burgundy.

Chanel has officially been in Vietnam since 2011, with its first perfume and cosmetics counter at Diamond Plaza in Ho Chi Minh City. Then, in December 2016, it opened a second perfume and cosmetics counter at Trang Tien Plaza in Hanoi.

The stand-alone boutique is an independent store, different from the concept of counters that have been set up with many different cosmetic counters of other brands in malls and shopping centers.

Apart from fragrances and cosmetics, Chanel Vietnam also has a fashion boutique at Ho Chi Minh City’s Rex Hotel, which has updated designs and collections (including iconic and seasonal) similar to other countries in the Asia-Pacific region.

Chanel is yet to have a watch and fine jewelry boutique in Vietnam.
