Chanel lucky charm bag

Hi folks! I just bought a 17P 224 Lucky Charms bag from Fashionphile which I do love. I’m a little frustrated – the price was good so I figured their description may have been a bit generous in terms of wear. And it was – it smells of perfume and it didn’t come with a dustbag or authenticity card. That said, the rest of the bag looks great and I don’t plan to sell it. BUT – the cute little lady bug at the bottom of the bag by the clasp is hanging onto the leather for dear life. I don’t think Chanel will repair it without the original receipt. So the question is: keep the bag and try Chanel and/or a leather repair place for the charm? and enjoy? Or return to FP? They’re not going to offer me any thing towards paying for the repair myself nor will they repair and send it back to me. Their descriptions and CS haven’t been the greatest over the last few months, I think this might be my swan song with them unfortunately.
