This browser-based program transforms images in JPG format (Joint Photographic Experts Group) format to images in PNG format (Portable Network Graphics). It has two additional options that let you control the properties of the output PNG file. The first option allows you to create transparent PNGs. If you enable this option, you can choose which color should be considered transparent. Then, there’s a transparency intensity option that controls how many similar colors should also be made transparent. The next option lets you preview the transparent pixels. If you enable this option, all transparent pixels will be painted in black color and all non-transparent pixels will be painted in white color. This option is preview-only so that you can easily see where the transparent pixels are. It has no effect on the output PNG and downloaded PNG. Png-abulous!
