Anti-Glycation
DNA Serum is an anti-glycation serum. A normal function of aging, glycation causes excess sugars to stick to skin protein fibers through cross-linking, which damages those skin proteins, often beyond repair. As a result of this damage, our skin loses its tightness and elasticity. The key to fighting glycation is through prevention. Our anti-glycation serum halts glycation before it damages the skin, preventing wrinkles, sagging skin, and UV damage.
Telomere Extension

Directions:
- Shake product well before each use.
- Apply 2-3 drops onto clean skin once or twice daily including around your eye area, neck and décolleté.
- Apply before any other lotions, creams, oils and sun protection you may be using. After application, allow DNA Serum to soak in for at least two minutes before applying any additional products over it.
- Store product at room temperature after use.
If you use topical Retin-A or any form of Tretinoin, including our All-Trans Retinol 2.0% Formula II, apply those products first. Then, you should wait at least 20-30 minutes before applying DNA Serum.

DETAILED ACTIVE INGREDIENTS:
Sea Buckthorn Oil is an all natural ingredient which both slows the aging process and helps heal skin. Loaded with essential fatty acids not found in the human body, Sea Buckthorn Oil repairs skin, promoting cell regeneration, improving metabolism, and inhibiting UV radiation. Carotenoids and Sterols in this ingredient restore skin moisture levels by restructuring cellular membranes and protecting against oxidative damage. Sea Buckthorn Oil is a natural antioxidant and contributes to the treatment of acne, rosacea, dermatitis, dry skin, and scarred skin.
Sunflower Extract is an antioxdant rich in phenolic acid, a phytochemical that has numerous skin protecting benefits. It has been shown to reduce and prevent cross-linking; cross-linking is what causes collagen fibers to gradually lose elasticity, which leads to loose and wrinkly skin. In addition, Sunflower Extract is an anti-glycation ingredient, helps to absorb harmful UV rays. It is also an antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-parasitic ingredient.
Amalaki Extract is a botanical extract that battles discoloration, age spots, and many other signs of premature aging. In particular, it is used successfully to treat stretch marks and wrinkles. A multi-faceted ingredient, Amalaki is also an antioxidant and possesses a beneficial percentage of Vitamin (the percentage of Vitamin C is such, though, that it is still fine to use with a copper peptide).
Algae Extract is an all natural ingredient packed with many trace minerals from the ocean that benefit aging skin. This active is a known skin firmer and moisturizer. It reduces the degradition of the skin’s extra cellular matrix, and in doing so, it both firms skin and prevents skin from loosening in the future. In addition, this improves the skin’s natural moisture content because of the polysaccharides it contains. Polysaccharides, or sugars, help promote our skin’s ability to retain moisture. Algae Extract also contains alginates (this increases skin moisture and elasticity), fucoidanes (this stimulates circulation), polyphenols (is an antioxidant, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory), and fucosteral (an emmollient, diuretic, moisturizing agent, and blood stimulant). As you can see, this is a powerful ingredient with a wide variety of benefits!
Fennel Extract excels at increasing skin elasticity, particularly elasticity within our skin’s connective tissure. This, in part, makes Fennel Extract an excellent wrinkle treatment, especially for mature complexions. It is also an antiseptic, diuretic, stimulant, antioxidant and tonic that has many soothing, cleansing effects on the skin. As an antioxidant, it does a great deal to both remove toxins and fight skin puffiness by reducing water retention. It also stimulates healthy circulation and helps maintain toned, tight skin.
Gluconolactone does a great deal to strengthen this formula, from improving our skin’s barrier function, preventing further damage, to enhancing moisture levels. In addition, it does a great deal to fight sun damage and photoaging effects and protect against future damage. Skin firms, fine lines and wrinkles diminish, roughness smoothes, sallowness improves, and pores tighten. It also helps treat and alleviate common skin issues like hyperpigmentation and rosacea.
Natural Alpha-Bisabolol helps make other active ingredients more effective by vastly increasing their ability to penetrate the skin. In addition to its ability to increase product penetration, it’s also an anti-inflammatory with anti-mycotic and antibacterial effects and wound healing properties. It soothes and calms, evening skin tone.
Aloe Vera improves the integrity and production of fibroblast cells six to eight times faster than normal cell production, according to studies. This is important because fibroblast cells fabricate collagen, the structural support protein of our skin. As we age and expose our skin to the sun, our fibroblast cells do not produce as much collagen as they used to produce. Furthermore, the quality of this already limited collagen decreases as we age. In turn, our skin become more prone to wrinkles, lines, and sun spots. With aloe vera, collagen production increases and strengthens, fighting wrinkles and protecting our skin from gaining more.
Aloe vera is also a known skin healer and calmer, particularly for wounds, burns, and cuts. It smooths skin, destroys bacteria, moisturizes, and helps transport and penetrate healthy substances through the skin. A thoroughly nourishing ingredient, aloe vera contains vitamins E and C, treats skin damage and dark spots, and serves as vital anti-aging ingredient.
