Dancing on Ice pro-skater Alex Murphy is dating YouTube Millionaire Paul Klein – Mirror Online

Romance is in the air as Alex Murphy and Paul Klein have been dating since meeting on Celebrity Coach Trip last year

Dancing on Ice star Alex Murphy is dating popular YouTube star Paul Klein.

The two hit it off after crossing paths last year while both appearing on TV reality show Celebrity Coach Trip.

Even the other contestants on Celebrity Coach Trip were well aware of the budding romance between Paul and Alex.

Paul is one half of duo Woody and Kleiny which also includes best pal Paul Wood.

The pair, who first found fame appearing on Britain’s Got Talent in 2009, perform online pranks and are known for creating challenges and viral crazes. Their net worth has been reported to be £1.5million.

However, things seem to hit a bump in the road when Paul Wood, who was appearing with Paul (Klein) as a team was hospitalised for appendicitis and the boys had to leave the show.

But luckily things picked up for Paul and Alex when they got back home and their romance flourished.

At the time Alex told The Sun: “Yes, Kleiny and I have had a few dates on land and off the bus. Who knows what will happen now we’re not on wheels!”

The Mirror have reached out to Alex Murphy’s representatives for further comment.

Paul also showed his support for the pro-skater, 29 when he turned up to cheer her on during Dancing on Ice.

An insider told Sun Online: “Kleiny is really popular in the YouTube world and his fans are delighted he’s found happiness with Alex.

“Everyone’s hoping to see her in one of their videos soon.”

Alex has not been a permanent part of the main show this series.

Her original partner and former TV presenter Michael Barrymore was forced to quit just weeks before the show was due to launch.

Michael was due to launch his career comeback on the hit ITV show hosted by Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

But the 67-year-old was been forced to pull out after breaking his hand.

He was replaced by Blue Peter presenter Radzi Chinyanganya.

Michael said at the time: “I am absolutely devastated; I have loved every second of the journey so far with my wonderful dance partner Alex and the support from the public has been overwhelming.”

However, four weeks ago, Alex got the chance to pair up with a celebrity for this series.

The skater partnered with Joe Swash, as a stand-in for Alex Schauman, when the latter was forced to pull out after receiving a nasty injury during a “freak fall”.

Alex sent her love to her friend in an Instagram snap of herself with Joe and fellow contestant Ian ‘H’ Watkins.

“Wishing our beautiful @alex_lukasz a speedy recovery, but yes it’s true- I’ll be taking this fella on the right (sorry @ianhwatkins ) thru his paces!” she wrote.

“So grateful to be given the opportunity to choreograph and compete on@dancingonice again, just wish it was under happier circumstances.
