My husband has worn this for years. I think since it came out. It blends with his own oils and makes a unique cologne for him. I love it on him. He has tried others and always goes back to this one.
A good way to get your feet wet with fine fragrances
Overwhelming notes of sandalwood but give it some time and it blends quite well with your natural body chemistry. Doesn’t last that long though out the day compared to to other fine eau de parfums. After over thirty years and reformulated countless times it’s still a solid scent. Classic barbershop manly scent that you can’t go wrong with. Younger guys might be turned off on it and things like chanel egoiste platinum do the same thing better. Definitely worth a look at and lasts maybe 5 hours.

This is one of the first cologne I bought husband when we were dating many years ago and I still love the smell. I highly recommend this product!

This was a great fragrance! And it’s still good today. It’s citrusy fresh with some spice, and slightly masculine. I mainly smell lavender, lemon, bergamot, basil, geranium, coriander, jasmine, sandalwood, vetiver, musk, and amber. The performance is about average 5 hours, 2 hours projection, and then a nice scent trail after. It’s just a lighter scent after 5 hours, but people will still detect it. It doesn’t have the same power as it did in the 90’s, it was an easy 10 hours! But it’s still great, and women seem to enjoy this scent on a man. So yes you’ll get compliments. It’s fairly cheap as well for a big bottle. Give it a try!
