The Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to have been accepted into the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) World Chambers Federation (WCF) International Certificate of Origin Accreditation Chain. Accreditation demonstrates the Chamber’s Certificate of Origin (CO) documentation services provided through Swiftdox are verified by ICC WCF to meet the highest international standards and are issued according to the “gold standard” of globally accepted best practices.

What are Certificates of Free Sale, Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Standing?

Many countries require a Certificate of Free Sale as assurance from a foreign agency that the products listed on the certificate are freely sold in the U.S.

Additionally, exports can require a Certificate of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to support a company’s claim of following good manufacturing practice guidelines and quality assurance, or a Certificate of Good Standing to verify that a company has met its statutory requirements and is authorized to do business.

ATA Carnet Support- Get Back to Global Business

What is an ATA Carnet?

ATA Carnet, the Passport for Goods, is an international customs and temporary export/import document used to clear customs in 87 countries and territories for up to one year. Virtually all types of non-consumable goods can be transported including commercial samples, professional equipment and goods for exhibitions.

The L.A. Area Chamber, in partnership with the United States Council for International Business (USCIB) and Roanoke Insurance Group Inc., is offering a special ATA Carnet rebate program to help businesses recover and get back to global business. ATA Carnet is a powerful tool for companies doing business internationally, allowing temporary importation of goods for up to one year in multiple countries, without having to pay import duties or taxes.
