Glass reviews La Roche-Posay Hyalu B5 serum
DESCRIBED as an “intensively hydrating serum” the La Roche-Posay Hyalu B5 serum instantly intrigued me. As someone who suffers from a cold 24/7 over the winter months, my nose has had to endure a wide range of products to keep my dry and cracked tissue-beaten skin at bay. And although several products have provided instant relief none have shown endurance.
The La Roche-Posay Hyalu B5 Serum stimulates repair of damaged skin and provides intense hydration with a unique combination of Vitamin B5, Madeccassoside, and two different sized molecules of Hyaluronic acid. Vitamin B5 helps improve the skins natural repairing process, and Madeccassoside helps stimulate collagen synthesis, which gives the skin its firm and elastic quality. Hyaluronic acid is the volume molecule that helps keep in moisture and re-plump from within.
La Roche-Posay Hyalu B5 Serum
With a gel-like texture, the serum gently soothes the face and sinks into the skin to provide hydration throughout the day or night. I found that when I applied it at night I woke up not needing to moisturise and if I used it in the morning I found it worked as a nifty primer under my foundation. The Hyalu B5 has been rigorously tested and designed for sensitive skin with 9/10 dermatologists saying they would recommend it. For over 30 years, La Roche-Posay has worked with dermatologists across the globe to build the most advanced skincare. Advanced skincare that features a key ingredient – La Roche-Posay thermal spring water. This unique, resilient and hydrating element is what makes La Roche-Posay skincare stand out from the rest.
The formula is light but deeply nourishing. Although it may seem sticky on the first touch when it is applied it glides over the face with ease and comfort. You only need one or two drops to cover the entirety of the face so you can rest assured it’ll last a while. I’ve used it now for three months and I am more than impressed with the results. Fine lines on my forehead seem smoothed out, my skin feels plump, and my dry skin has been defeated. It also smells great too. I can safely say I’ll be reinvesting when my bottle runs out.
