Hanhart – New steel bracelet for 417 ES chronographs

Reissued in 2020 and inspired to the reference 417 used by the German armed forces from the mid-1950s, the 417 ES Chronograph comes in a stainless steel case equipped with a bidirectional fluted bezel with red position marking and is offered in two sizes, 39 mm and 42 mm.

The black dial has a bicompax layout with hands and numerals coated with Super-LumiNova for enhanced readability. The watch is powered by a hand-wound Sellita SW 510 M beating at the frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vph) with an autonomy of 58 hours.

Previously offered only with leather straps, the Hanhart 417 ES Chronograph can now be matched to a robust yet comfortable three-link bracelet crafted from stainless steel with a satin finish.

Thanks to its built-in quick-change mechanism, the bracelet can be easily changed without any tools. The practical folding clasp with the historic Hanhart logo features a practical adjustment system which makes it possible to adjust its length for added wearing comfort.

The new bracelet is available with lug widths of 20 mm or 21 mm and is therefore suitable for all 417 ES models with a diameter of 39 mm and 42 mm, including the 417 ES Chronograph with black dial and the 417 ES Flyback Panda and Reverse Panda (follow the links to read more about these models).
