Worth the money Oily Skin NO MORE
This is absolutely the best $30 I have ever spent in my life. This stuff is honestly the real deal. I have very oily skin, and this today was the first time I used the serum.
I applied the Mario Badescu Oil Free Moisturizer, and then I applied the serum after that dried, and let me tell you, my skin was instantly smooth.
The oil was not there, it just wasn’t. All day my skin was soft, and not one trace of oil at all. I have never used a product that took away and kept the oil away.
And this was right off the bat. You need this product, yes it’s pricey, but trust me, you will have not one single regret about it. BUY IT!
Doesn’t work and bad packaging
I’ve never written a review, but I bought this product because of the great reviews but I regret buying it. I would recommend you get a sample of it and see if it works for your because it really didn’t do anything for me. I have dry/acne prone skin. It didn’t make my skin worse (which is why I gave it 2 stars) but it really didn’t make it better and I didn’t see any difference. I’ve had it for over a month and used it a lot but last week I had severely dry skin and it didn’t do anything for me. Maybe it will work for you.
Oh, and the packaging is AWFUL. I might go back to Ulta and try to return it because the bottle is almost half empty and for the life of me cannot get the product out.
No, sorry.

Broke me out… and doesn’t work. I wanted this to work so badly because I love hydration but it’s a no sadly.
I love this product

I literally do not ever go without this product. When my nose is dry during winter I can put this inside each nostril with zero burning on the cracked skin. The same goes for my lips. I can use this product and within seconds your lips go from being so dry to smooth. It’s a must have for keeping acne-prone skin hydrated.
Great Product

Let’s clear up a bit of confusion around this product. It’s a “serum,” but I think it’s only labeled that because of it’s light, gel-like consistency. I’ve used this both under and over my day moisturizer and night cream. It really does work best over top as the last step. This is because it helps to rebuild your skin barrier so that your mositurizers are absorbed better by your skin; putting this on top helps your other products work better. Using it under, it locked my skin barrier to what was on top, so the moisturizers didn’t help as much. However, this essentially functioned for me as a night mask/sleeping pack; there are cheaper night masks that work as well or better. BUT I will keep using this and will likely purchase again; my dry cheeks need the extra moisture boost during the day, but I don’t use it on my oily t-zone during the day. If I use it as a night mask, I use it all over and it works well. Very little product goes a long way. I bought mine around the end of January and have used it every day; now in April I still have 3/4 of the bottle, so it’ll likely last me to the end of the year or longer now that I’ve bought a proper night mask.
Works as a moisturizing, grippy primer

Yes, the “serum” label is confusing because it’s really better as a moisturizer. Yes, the packaging isn’t the best, but it’s super travel friendly! And yes, it is pretty sticky, but I’ve found that it acts as an amazing, “grippy” primer for my Jane Iredale powder foundation! Never burns my skin, and the ingredients are not comedogenic or acne causing.
