‘He’s a loony tune’: Twitter exec Alex Martinez MOCKS Elon Musk’s Asperger’s in damning video

A video of Twitter executive Alex Martinez has gone viral on the internet that showed him calling Elon Musk “special” while making fun of his Asperger’s syndrome. The two-minute and twenty seconds secretly recorded video has been shared on the social media platform by political columnist Benny Johnson. The clip features Martinez, who is a lead client partner at Twitter and can be seen talking to an undercover reporter of Project Veritas.

Making fun of his incoming boss, Martinez remarked, “He has Asperger’s. So he’s special! You’re special needs! You’re literally special needs,” adding, “So I can’t even take what you’re saying seriously. He’s a loony tune.” Martinez also mocked the 50-year-old’s plan to bring free speech back to the microblogging site once he joins the office. “Advertisers are freaking out because of what he’s like tweeting about. Like, being, like, I want free speech, yada yada yada. Like, who really knows what that even means?” he further added.

The video also showed the executive disclosing policies of the company as he went on to show an email from Twitter’s corporate security to the Project Veritas journalist. Showing the memo, Martinez stated, “It’s like some group that’s just trying to out the employees. Like they’re trying to go on dates with them, like this. And then record them and then go sell it to the New York Times and say, ‘This is what the Twitter employee just said.’ Like this is what is really happening. ‘Lucky I met you organically, or I would be questioning you.’”

The damning video caught the attention of Musk, who during his ‘Saturday Night Live’ debut in 2021 revealed he had Asperger’s syndrome. He fired back tweeting, “Twitter exec trashing free speech & mocking people with Asperger’s …” Several people also went on to slam Martinez as well as Project Veritas.

Stand-up comedians and conservative political commentators twin brothers Keith and Kevin Hodge tweeted, “Not only do they make fun of people with Aspergers and trash free speech…this guy says they truly believe that they’re doing the right thing with censorship and controlling the narrative. What they don’t realize is that they are the bad guys here…”

A user shared, “Wow. My eyes got teary hearing the guy speak about Elon. My son and I have Aspergers, as do others in our family. The guy showed his true colors.” Another one asked, “Can someone please explain how Project Veritas obtains these videos? Is it legal to record someone without their consent?”

Questioning the credibility of the video that has been viewed over four million times, a person said, “I’d appreciate the unedited footage. I’m having trouble ascertaining context with all these cuts.” Another person noted, “That’s the whole point of Project Veritas. Manipulate feelings through clever editing.” “Filming people without their knowledge is immoral no matter the reason,” the third one added.

Martinez’s clip came soon after Project Veritas shared a video of Twitter senior engineer Siru Murugesan, who claimed that the firm “does not believe in free speech”. He had said, “Ideologically, it does not make sense, like, because we’re actually censoring the right and not the left. So everyone on the right will be like, ‘Bro, it’s okay to say it, just gotta tolerate it.’ The left will be like, ‘No, I’m not gonna tolerate it. I need it censored or else I’m not gonna be on the platform.’ So it does that on the right. It’s true. There is bias.”
