She started talking herself up as “one of the only actresses who could play Wonder Woman” during the casting process and it was nagl. I wonder if that contributed.

Honestly, the way they treated her and the Warriors Three still bothers me. Okay, we want a new kind of Thor. Do we have to murder all his important side characters in literally a second, then joke about stuff directly after?

Taika needed to cut that happening at least twice. Especially at the end when Asgard explodes and Korg says a quip about the foundations. Just let it happen for once, Taika.
