If you have oily acne prone skin this product will work, it’s very lightweight and dries quick, with consistent use and don’t forget to protect your moisture barrier or you may feel irritation and burning but the SA, glycolic acid and niacinamide will make you less oily unclog pores and even skin tone. There is fragrance in this product like all their serums; which is my only beef with this product. 9/10

Good but…

I started using this product to replace the discontinued Biomedic LHA serum. The Biomedic LHA line was the only thing that ever really gave my skin great results. I use this serum to combat my deep blackheads that nothing else touches. It is very strong, and can be a bit stinging. If I use this consistently, I do see a difference in the texture of my skin.

I’ve only been using this for about a month and I have completely seen a difference. I have very oily skin and large pores and my skin is looking better than ever. I also use Skin inc daily dose and an oil free moisturizer from Cetaphil. Highly recommend!

Won’t break the bank

This product is effective at smoothing and toning the skin. It’s not overly aggressive, despite it’s chemically smell. My skin responds very well to almost all La Roche Posay products. I would recommend this for someone with oily/combination or acne prone skin.

Llevo un mes con un tratamiento de acné para pieles adultas. Mi problema no era tener muchos granos, si no tener la piel grasa y sucia. Al mandarme un tratamiento que te seca la piel mi preocupación eran las arrugas, si habéis seguido uno de estos tratamientos lo entenderéis. Se queda la piel tensa y cuando haces cualquier expresión se marca mucho. Con este serum ya no me pasa. Es una maravilla además de ser seboregulador. Se puede combinar con tu crema hidratante. (Por ejemplo yo la combinó con hidraphase ligere, conviene utilizar siempre protector UV para cuidar que no te salgan machas). Este producto me parece muy bueno. Lo utilizo después de lavarme con effaclar gel y el resultado es maravilloso, piel limpia, luminosidad, poros cerrados….totalmente recomendada!

I really did not see a difference in my skin at all with this product. I am also not a fan that the second ingredient is alcohol which is very drying and not suitable for oily skin. I am sticking to SkinCeuticals Serum 10 AOX+

I bought this product because I couldn’t keep up with SkinCeuticals’ prices. I needed to find a serum to boost up my skincare and I thought this would help. After using this product for 3+ months, I would definitely repurchase it. The only thing is the alcohol smell, but I am able to tolerate it over time. It’s a bit harsh and overdrying at first. Once my skin was acclimated for 3 weeks, my skin adjusted itself. It seems to control my breakout even though I would occasionally get some due to hormones. I would only use this as part of my night time skincare routine. As for as reducing the pore size, I have not seen drastic results. The only way to minimize the appearance of my pores is to use a silica based primer.

This is legit. I use it with Epionce cleanser and Lytic tx cream. This trio had helped my skin sooo much.

Strong alcohol smell

The first product I have ever had to return to Dermstore. Noticed an overwhelming alcohol smell when I opened the bottle, and then noticed it was the second ingredient.
