Lambskin classic flap wear and tear question…
hearts says lambskin as it’s classic and looks and feels amazing.
head says caviar, For practical reasons and it’s over 5k now so I want it to last the test of time.
I’ve been looking online for ages at reviews etc. Most people say caviar as you don’t need to baby it, it won’t scratch etc etc. But I’m not really that keen on it and definitely prefer the lambskin.
I’m worried that if I get caviar I’ll forever wish I’d got the lambskin, and its so much money should I just go with my heart.
if I get lambskin I’m worried it will get scratched or scuffed easily and that I’ll need to baby it and be careful with it all the time like I am with my lady Dior.
im also concerned that the lambskin will deflate over time and I have heard the caviar just remains pretty much like the day you bought it.
id be gutted if the quilts deflate, even 10 years down the line. I just want it to remain plump and super shiney
but, if I’m only going to buy one classic flap, should I just go with my heart and think stuff it, I love it, scratches etc they don’t matter and try to be careful and enjoy it and not be overly precious about it Or will it definitely deflate, scuff, scratch and leave me disappointed in a few years, so best with caviar overall?
any thoughts?
thanks very much
