Other <strong>Morris</strong> & <strong>Alexander</strong> <strong>Raisers</strong> are often available as GIS Refurbished Specials. Always check the GIS website before ordering as a CES New Purchase. These <strong>Raisers</strong> require fitting. This service is not currently available from GIS Driver Fitters. Please refer to an OT Technician, Care & Repair or Anchor Staying Put. This chart is intended to aid clinical reasoning when selecting <strong>Furniture</strong> <strong>Raisers</strong>. Please use in conjunction with the GIS standard stock comparison sheet and ‘<strong>Raisers</strong> Guidance for Prescribers’. <strong>Morris</strong> & <strong>Alexander</strong> <strong>Raisers</strong> are particularly useful in situations when GIS standard stock does not fit or is not appropriate (e.g. long term needs, the furniture will be moved after fitting etc). The feet of <strong>Morris</strong> raisers can be unscrewed by approx 1″ to adjust to uneven floors. NB: Raise on <strong>Morris</strong> range is from underside of base. Raise on <strong>Alexander</strong> range is from underside of leg/ castor.
