Burberry launches Mr. Burberry Indigo in 2018 as a fresh, spring and casual edition of the original Mr. Burberry from 2016. After Mr. Burberry Eau de Parfum interpretation from 2017, the more intense and warmer one, the new version turns attention towards a more energetic and invigorating theme inspired by the fresh sea breeze of the English coast.
Mr. Burberry Indigo contains citruses with aromatic and woody notes. It reportedly represents a man who is in search of freedom and refreshment and new energy as a contrast to his hectic London life.
Lemon and rosemary in the top lead to the aromatic heart of violet, leaf of violet and mint oil. The base is made of warmer amber accords and oak moss that provide depth to the composition. The creator of this line is master perfumer Francis Kurkdjian.
The design of the bottle represents the legendary Burberry trench coat (the navy blue one). The face of the advertising campaign is Josh Whitehouse photographed on the English coast by Alasdair McLellan.
The fragrance is available as a 50, 100 and 150 ml Eau de Toilette from mid April 2018.
