Nothing else I’ve tried is this great
It’s been my signature scent for years. Not as good as the previous eau premiere but a fantastic fragrance nonetheless. It’s got staying power, fading gently through the day instead of within an hour. It doesn’t have the horrible alcohol-y scent that come with a lot of perfumes. Great perfume for someone who wants a classic without the grandma vibes the original No 5 gives off.
Not for Me
I am new to the world of perfumes, so im trying to find what suits me. I started out with some sweet and light ones like Daisy and flowerbomb. I am learning i enjoy light and sweet, and warm spicy ones as well. Ive heard a lot of talk about perfumes being powdery and I never understood what exactly that meant until I bought this one.
I wanted to try something more mature, less sweet if you will, and thought this one would be perfect. A more modern twist on No. 5. When I first sprayed it, it smelled so amazing. Citrusy with a touch of sweetness that I like. But when it dries, it smells really bad on me. I hate to say it but it’s like I am spraying myself with funeral home mixed with baby powder. When i tried it every time i got a smell of it it was seriously nauseating. It literally made my stomach turn. I had to take a shower i could not deal with the smell all day.
The intial spray is wonderful. But after it dries it just isnt for me.

This is my favorite scent of all time, but I don’t think I’ll replace it because it fades so quickly, even on clothes. Chanel needs to reformulate this to be stronger or make an Eau de Parfum alternative. Major bummer because it’s gorgeous.

I had high hopes for this fragrance as I do like the Channel Tendere and Eau Fresh fragrances, however I was not expecting a light powdery musk based on the description of this one. I was hoping it would be a very clean fresh similar to the Jimmy Choo L’eau but it’s not fresh at all. If powdery white floral musk fragrances are your go to you’d like this one.
I’ll buy it again I just wish it had gift like the other les

I love chance perfume but I think it stinks that you don’t get a free gift with purchase.

This is a beautiful light weight scent with the calming effects of ylang ylang. This smell is clean and refreshing, as well as calming… I love to spray it all over my body as soon as I get out of the shower. HOWEVER…I Wish the scent would last longer. For as much as I am paying for this scent, I LOVE…! I wish the scent would last longer. I feel it seems to wear off fairly quickly after applying. I love the scent so much, even as a man… I really wish it could last longer than one hour. I would buy bottles and bottles of this as an after shower spray as long as the scent would last a few hours longer …
