Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak to face Liverpool after being granted work permit
Isak has been training with his team-mates already
Alexander Isak has been granted a visa that will allow him to make his debut for Newcastle United at Anfield tonight.
The £60 million club-record signing was blocked from playing against Wolves on Sunday because a work permit had not been issued. However, The Times has learnt that the Home Office issued the visa for Isak early this afternoon, allowing the Sweden striker to play against Liverpool.

The 22-year-old has already trained with his new team-mates and was in the dressing room at Wolves on Sunday for Newcastle’s 1-1 draw in the Midlands.
