#OOTD // Cozy Cocoon Coat, Everyday V-Neck Sweater & White Skinnies

I bought this gorgeous cocoon coat at the end of last year and noticed the other day that it went back on sale again, and at an even better deal now that retailers are gearing up to introduce their spring collections.  Take advantage of it being on sale – it’s a classic beauty and total fall/winter staple.  I love how simple it is.  I ordered it in the light grey color, and it comes in a bunch of gorgeous colors.  If you want to jazz it up a bit, style it with a fur stole and/or with a Chanel brooch.

Nordstrom has the coat 35% off right now, and so does J.Crew, but if you use code “EXTRA50” you can get it for around $113 (plus tax) at J.Crew.  That is a smashingly good deal for a $350 quality coat.  I don’t think this deal will last very long, especially in the most popular sizes.  It is final sale, though, and I’d say it runs true to size.  I bought my first J.Crew coat at least 10 years ago, and it still looks amazing.  I also love all the children’s clothing at crewcuts – the quality is wonderful and the designs are whimsical yet wearable.

Although the coat is a gorgeous winter staple, my blush pink v-neck sweater is a year-round staple in my closet.  I LOVE thin knits like this, especially as a busty woman.  It’s probably my favorite thing to wear as a work-from-home mama.  The material is just beautiful and comfortable and perfect for everyday yet still elevated.  If you work in an office, this elegant top would also look great with a pencil skirt or dress pants.  It comes in 5 pretty colors, so there’s something for everyone.
