Offered today by The Music Room: One Pioneer RT-909 Reel to Reel. This unit was professionally restored 1.5 years ago (by Thomas Possche) with motors rebuilt, capstan motor replaced, new playback and record heads. Mr Possche was one of the best in the business up until his recent passing. This classic tape deck is in exceptional condition. The faceplate is flawless… you have to look it over pretty closely to find any imperfections at all. A true collector’s dream.

Cosmetic condition– Faceplate looks immaculate. All lights working. There is some very faint wear that can be found in the black paint if you look it over very closely. From a few feet away, it looks brand new. This one is about as close to mint as you’re likely to find.
