REVIEW: AHC The Aqualuronic Collection

REVIEW: AHC The Aqualuronic CollectionThis collection was kindly gifted to me.

AHC has been one of my favourite brand discoveries this year. It’s a K-Beauty brand, affordable and one that everyone should try! The first product I tried was the Essential Real Eye Cream for face, which I reviewed here. I don’t know if I’ve ever fallen in love with a skincare product so quickly, so I was absolutely delighted when I was sent the Aqualuronic collection, which is aimed at dehydrated skin. I have been using the products for around 4/5 weeks now and want to share my thoughts with you….

AHC Aqualuronic Facial Cleanser For Dehydrated Skin*: Now when I say that you only need a TINY amount of this cleanser, I mean it! A pea sized amount is ample, and as the tube contains 140ml, this will last for a very long time! It is a lightly foaming cleanser, so you just add water to the pea sized amount and I promise you that a little goes a long way. I massage it all over my face and neck and then rinse thoroughly to reveal skin that doesn’t feel at all tight, like you might expect from a foaming cleanser.

AHC Hydrating Aqualuronic Toner For Face*: After cleansing, instead of misting, I use this toner, which I personally prefer to pat in with my hands, rather than using a cotton pad, but either method works. This toner contains triple hyaluronic acid, with three molecular weights, so it can deeply penetrate the skin. It also contains cermaides and French Sea Water, which hydrate and nourish the skin. After using this, my skin feels so comfortable and plump – it is every bit as good as a hydrating mist.

AHC Hydrating Aqualuronic Face Serum*:  As you can see from the photo above, I absolutely LOVE this serum, and I am using it daily. It really replenishes my skin, leaving it feeling thoroughly hydrated, comfortable and plump. Again, it has triple hyaluronic acid, with three molecular weights, and it’s honestly one of the most hydrating serums I have ever used, yet the texture is light and it doesn’t pill at all.

AHC Hydrating Aqualuronic Emulsion Face Lotion*: For those who have dehydrated, but oily skin, this lotion would probably suffice as a moisturiser, but because I have dry skin, I use this prior to my moisturising cream. It also contains the triple Hyaluronic Acid formula, as well as French Sea Water and ceramides, to nourish and protect the skin, maintaining the skin’s barrier function. It has a gel consistency, but it doesn’t feel tacky on the skin and layers well with other products. If we were to get a heatwave, this alone would probably be hydrating enough to serve as my moisturiser, but given that the temperature has really dropped, I need something more nourishing on top.

AHC Face Cream Aqualuronic Hydrating Triple Hyaluronic Acid*: I love this product so much that I am almost finished it already! It has such a light, gel texture and melts into the skin so quickly and easily, that you wouldn’t think it would be hydrating enough for very dehydrated and dry skin, but it works wonders! My skin feels so soft and plump when I use this moisturiser (which is daily at the moment!) – it really is one of the best moisturisers I have ever used.

Overall, I cannot get enough of this brand – it completely delivers on its aims. I love that it’s affordable and it has made its way into my daily routine and I will 100% repurchase the serum and face cream, as I am using those most quickly.

Have you tried this AHC? If not, I sincerely suggest that you do because I can be pretty certain that you will fall in love! I’d love to hear your thoughts!
