Reddit – Dive into anything

I’ve been traveling more often for business, usually accompanied by men and going to meet men – and often going directly from the airport to work, where I am needing to wear semi-comfortable shoes (although heels make me feel confident). The men I am with are usually wearing slacks/golf pants, casual shoes, and a polo/zipper jacket. This may not matter, but I try to dress in a way that is not extremely different (like a dress/heels or jeans/tshirt). I have struggled to find a reliable outfit combo that is comfortable to travel in, but also business-y enough to go to meetings and feel confident.

I usually opt for a linen/jogger pant, slip on vans/oxfords, and a simple shirt. I always struggle with a jacket – since a casual colored zip down looks too casual, but a blazer/trench seems too fancy. Any ideas from you might wear when traveling for business? I’d like to dress up more…but not be “fancy”..if that makes sense?? And it getting warm has made it difficult – no more comfortable slouchy sweaters!
