I know this sounds like a strange question, and I am in no way doubting Jodi’s guilt over the matter. She clearly did it and she definitely wanted to make sure he suffered before he died. However after seeing the Lifetime movie and watching some series cover the case, I see a different picture of Travis than what was originally painted. Don’t get me wrong, no one deserves to die in such a manner but I can’t help but think that Travis was somewhat of an idiot besides Jodi. Jodi was obsessive and she’s stupid for allowing herself to get involved with a man who clearly didn’t love her or respect her, he just wanted easy access to sex and would use her to get it. But Travis is a fool for that reason, he knew and saw how obsessive she was and yet whenever she enticed him with sex, he would automatically go for it and totally disregard the warning signs.

And then there’s the fact that he would constantly use his religion as an excuse to not move further with his relationship with Jodi, and yet I think I heard somewhere that the religion doesn’t condone pre-martial sex, which is what Travis would do all the time, not just with Jodi. So really, he was only religious when it was continent for him. Idk maybe I’m being too harsh on him and I know he’s the victim but seriously how many warning signs did this guy miss just because he was thinking with his penis instead of his head.

Is there something I’m missing from this case? Or was this really how Travis was?
