When Ethan and Hila were young, they struggled financially. Hila left Israel to be with Ethan but neither could find a job. Every night, they would sit down and work on a children’s book to forget their problems. Ethan was writing the story and Hila was making the drawings.

Hila is a very talented artist. These old drawings show that she is capable of making very whimsical and cute designs. She has a very particular art style that we rarely see in Teddy Fresh, which brings more credibility to the Glassdoor reviews that she might be copying drawings and using other artists’ work to make Teddy Fresh. The designs which are closer to Hila’s old art style are:

We speak negatively about Teddy Fresh in the sub because we believe that she is on the wrong in this situation. She’s stealing and profiting from other people’s ideas. There is nothing wrong with taking inspiration from the past, but we have seen her blatantly copying other designs already in the market and passing them as her own. The most ironic part is that Ethan and her fans go after anyone who vaguely resembles anything that Teddy Fresh releases. The use of color blocking or teddy bears gets them mobilized to harass companies.

As we have seen, Hila has the ability to make cute drawings but instead copies or makes lazy designs for Teddy Fresh when she uses her own art style. Perhaps under the pressure of releasing many drops per year, she has become complacent and cut corners in how she runs Teddy Fresh. This is still not a valid excuse to use other people’s work and sell them as your own.
