Reddit – Dive into anything
.) Why were all the students at the Sao Survivor School given free Augmas and free Yuna concert tickets? It seems like an obvious red flag that there’s something shady going on.
.) How are the developers of the Augma even legally allowed to set up a shit ton of drones all over Japan?
.) I have a million questions about how Augma and Ordinal Scale could even possibly work, but I’ll just write down two of them. How were players getting physically blown away whenever a boss hit them? It shouldn’t be able to physically hit players since the enemies are just holograms. Also, how are there always no other people aside from Ordinal Scale players wherever there’s a boss fight? I mean the coordinates of the event are only released minutes before it occurs, so it’s not like the players had the place reserved in advance or something.
.) Why the hell didn’t Klein tell anyone that Eiji’s the one who beat his team up? I’m assuming he didn’t because no official authorities bothered investigating Eiji. Eiji also basically assaulted Silica and Kirito on seperate occasions, both in the middle of a crowd, so there’s that too.
.) Not that serious of a question, but why doesn’t anybody seem to care about Klein’s memories? Is he not important enough of a character? (RIP Klein Screentime)
.) How the fuck did Kirito get all the way to #9 in the rankings in like one day? I thought he was out of shape.
.) On a related note, why did Sinon just disappear from the story after helping Kirito out with that one boss fight? Is it so that Kirito could look even more OP as he climbs the ranks by himself?
.) Why the heck didn’t the people at the concert take off their Augmas even when something was obviously amiss? The exits were locked for crying out loud.
.) How the fuck did fighting the 100th floor boss in Aincrad solve anything???
.) In relation to that, how did Yui even manage to get literally every other character in the series into the said boss fight?
.) Why the hell is Yuuna’s code attatched to that of the final boss? Is it just a way to kill her off and return the status quo before the new story arc?
.) Finally, I love the movies last line: Never forget the nameless players (or something like that). It did, however, get me thinking. Was Yuuna really a nameless player? From the looks of it, she seemed to be rather popular in Sword Art Online, as most of the SAO survivors had memories of her. Why, then, did they all just seem to forget about Yuuna even before her dad started stealing their memories? Really, he was the one who was turning Yuuna into a nameless player because in the process of bringing her back to life, he was essentially erasing the impact she had on all the other players of SAO. Of course, this theme is never explored to its full potential since the SAO survivors don’t really seem to remember Yuuna in the first place, which is baffling considering the role she apparently played in encouraging all of them.
Sorry if I went of in quite a tangent in that last question, but yeah, those are my major questions regarding the movie.
