Supermodel Josephine Skriver Sells in Hollywood Hills, Buys Ocean-View Palisades Estate
Josephine Skriver and Alexander DeLeon have purchased a $5.2 million estate in a prime pocket of Pacific Palisades. Simultaneously, the international supermodel and her singer-songwriter husband have sold a midcentury-modern home in Hollywood Hills for just under $2.8 million, or around $400,000 more than they paid for the place back in fall 2020.
Newly married to her longtime partner this past spring, Denmark-born Skriver, 29, is probably most known for her work as a Victoria’s Secret Angel and Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, as well as co-founder of JoJa athletic wear with fellow model Jasmine Tookes. Las Vegas native DeLeon, 33, is frontman of rock group The Cab and also has released solo music under the stage name Bohnes.
Built in 1987 and since updated, the couple’s new Palisades premises likely will undergo an extensive renovation under their ownership. Described as “an elegant home with timeless appeal” in the listing, the Mediterranean-style structure is tucked away on a secluded cul-de-sac offering picturesque ocean and canyon views from its ridge-line perch. Five bedrooms and six baths are spread across a little more than 5,400 square feet — a substantial size advantage over the couple’s other Hollywood Hills home, which has roughly 1,600 square feet of living space.
A motorcourt and two-car garage front the three-story home, with the front door opening into a double-height foyer displaying a curving staircase. From there, the living room boasts a fireplace and arched French doors spilling out to a covered patio, and there’s also a formal dining room, plus a spacious kitchen with newer stainless appliances, an eat-in island and a windowed breakfast nook that connects to a fireside family room outfitted with a bar and wine refrigerator.
Upstairs, a trio of ensuite bedrooms includes a master retreat sporting a fireplace, private balcony and walk-in closet, along with a luxe bath equipped with dual vanities, a dressing area, soaking tub and steam shower. An additional guest bedroom with bath can be found on the lower level, which also hosts an office with a fireplace and built-in bookshelves, a recreation room and separate staff suite that’s currently being used as a gym.
Outdoors, the grassy grounds are laced with fruit trees, while the immediate backyard holds a pool and spa flanked by a sundeck, along with plenty of spots ideal for al fresco lounging and entertaining amid a stone-clad terrace. HOA fees of $425 per month also allow access to a 24-hour security patrol, as well as a pool and spa, tennis and basketball courts, and a clubhouse.
