Hyperpigmentation saviour
This product is a my saviour for post acne hyperpigmentation. It’s one of the only products that helps calm the redness and fade the dark marks over time!

Early days, but good so far
I haven’t been using this long enough to know if it fades sun damage, but it is very hydrating and gentle. I have pale, sensitive skin that reacts to almost everything and this hasn’t caused any irritation at all. Scent free. Affordable. A little goes a long way.

Disappointing
I love products from the ordinary and consistently go back to their HA and niacinamide serums – so I was really disappointed this didn’t do much for me. I get really stubborn acne scars which last for months and this didn’t do anything for them. Even for a budget brand I was hoping for better results.

I love this SO much. Used in conjunction with Niacinamide it’s really made a difference to my uneven skin tone and I love the weight of this Arbutin.

Alpha arbutin lightens the skin tone and makes it look healthy and radiant by fading discoloration caused by inflammation and environmental stress. This includes sunspots, age spots, acne scars, and melasma (3). It acts as a natural blending foundation for the skin

Very good
The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA is a thick liquid gel that feels a bit tacky upon application. Once it sinks into my skin and dries, the tackiness goes away. My skin feels slightly more hydrated after using this serum, thanks to the inclusion of hyaluronic acid
