Chanel Chance Eau de Parfum & Eau de Toilette

In my view, the original Chanel Chance Eau de Parfum is the longest lasting perfume in the range. It’s a classy musky patchouli jasmine which can become your signature scent. I’ve known a few people who wore this every day, and they definitely did always have this scent around them. It’s quite a simple and clean scent, appropriate for work and professional environments. I wouldn’t say it was a night time fragrance.

Chanel Chance Eau de Toilette is a lighter interpretation of the original. Broadly similar, it has some pineapple and lemon notes which come through, making it fresher.

Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche

Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche was the first flanker to be released for Chanel Chance. It’s one for people who really like cedar fragrance notes; it feels like walking through a cedar forest surrounded by the fresh green scent of nature.

Chanel Chance Eau Tendre

In 2010 Chanel Chance Eau Tendre Eau de Toilette was released. With pink branding, this is the most girly in the range with a fresh fruity and slightly sweet feel to it. The main notes at first are quince and grapefruit, in time some floral notes come in including hyacinth and the jasmine of the original.

Personally I prefer the 2019 Chanel Chance Eau Tende Eau de Parfum. Not only is this stronger and better for lasting, but the hyacinth has been replaced by rose, which has more body and makes this just a bit more interesting than the original Eau de Toilette.

Chanel Chance Eau Vive

Chanel Chance Eau Vive, released in 2015, is a burst of fresh citrus blood orange and grapefruit. Perfect for humid weather, it’s a very refreshing day scent. There is also the jasmine of the original in Chanel Chance, and the vetiver green note from Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche. Again, this is an Eau De Toilette so don’t expect it to last all day.
