Okay! So I did still have the My Burberry sample and I was able to do a challenge test (one on each arm) and compare.

The Burberry My Burberry Blush is clearly a fruity floral. Apple is the dominant note for me. The scent is crisp and fresh, retains . It has the shampoo vibe that fruity floral can sometimes get. Overall it’s a nice offering, but not my style. It actually has very little similarity to My Burberry, despite being a flanker. If I really think about it, I could say that both scents are anchored by a lovely rose (softly powdered). The shared DNA could just as easily be attributed to the house of Burberry itself.

Of the two, I prefer Burberry My Burberry, it’s a sweet pea dominated soft floral. There’s a “bath” effect in the opening, like those crumbly bath scenting blocks that come foil-wrapped as a bar. It has a light spiciness that develops in the drydown and is, overall, a modern soft and powdery floral.
