These two-tone Chanel boots are having a fashion moment

It all began on May 3, 2019 when Virginie Viard, now artistic director of Chanel, presented her very first fashion show in Paris for the two-C label. The show was organized in the nave of the Grand Palais (transformed for the occasion into a gigantic train station) presenting the Cruise 2019-2020 collection. This first show by Karl Lagerfeld’s successor, Virginie Viard was eagerly awaited by the fashion world . The result? A chic collection, composed of loose pants, blouses, and two-tone patent boots. Nine months after this event, these boots from the Chanel Cruise 2019-2020 collection resurfaced, and were spotted on the street during Fashion Week and on Instagram.

A must-have adopted by the trendiest girls

Popular with fashionable girls such as Pernille Teisbaek and Monica Ainley, these patent calfskin boots, monochrome or two-tone, stand out by the originality of a 3-inch heel, as imagined for girls on the move. How can we explain the success of this model? Understanding the trend of minimalism has something to do with it, as well as knowing that the modernized 1960s spirit emanating from these boots makes this model timeless. And this zipped style, available in closed and open versions, is a hit on the most popular social network of the moment: Instagram. A must-have to get through the winter by raising the stakes in fashion.
