They say: A fragrance addition to the Coco Mademoiselle collection, this scent is a “soft and sensual fruity oriental” created specifically for nighttime. With notes of jasmine absolute, rose petal and soft musk, L’Eau Privée is a “light and delicate version” of the original scent, that envelopes the wearer like a “sensual veil,” according to CHANEL perfumer Olivier Polge.

We say: This scent is deliciously delicate on skin. While undoubtedly familiar to those who may already wear Coco Mademoiselle, this new release offers something more soft and decidedly more personal than the original elixir.

Valmont
Primary collection
They say: A skincare collection from Valmont that is “at once gentle enough to allow for long-term use,and potent enough for on-off applications when the need arises.” The comprehensive range of products are formulated around probiotics and prebiotics, to promote a stable balance in the “skin’s ecosystem,” according to the brand.

We say: These products provided skin-smoothing results with one use. Several of the products are packaged using Ultra-High Temperature sterilization to ensure the active ingredients in the formulations remain intact. While the serum and veil products were fast favourites, it was the Primary Pomade, a rich skin balm formulated with a biomimetic lipid complex, along with vegetable oils and butters that soothed and nourished skin that made our tester’s MVP list.

Finishing Touch
Flawless Contour
They say: A genuine rose quartz facial roller and massager that features a buzz-worthy twist. The battery-powered device (the roller function is manual) boasts a “controlled vibrating technology” to help stimulate circulation and collagen production.
We say: Already a fan of facial roller and Gua Sha tools, our tester was excited to put this vibrating option to the test. The rose-quartz is weighty and has a nice, cooling effect. While the long-term benefits of the buzzing have yet to be seen, she did not that that added element made the massaging experiencing even nicer than usual.
